Classification of Steel Shot Ball Casting
Steel shot is a commonly used material nowadays, which has many advantages. In recent years, its demand in industry has been increasing, its application scope has been expanding, and its consumption has been increasing year by year. The casting of steel balls is a crucial step in production. Only by casting well can we ensure that there will be no cracking during use. 2. Investment casting/lost wax casting: This treatment method has high continuity and accuracy, and can also be used to process messy shapes. On the premise of relatively low processing costs, the function can be completed and the appearance is suitable for large-scale production.
3. Injection casting: used for complex shapes with large machining errors. Due to the inherent characteristics of the technology, there is no need for post-processing after the steel shot is formed, but if mass-produced, it can only demonstrate the advantage of low cost.
4. Die casting: The processing cost is high and only requires mass production, so the cost is reasonable. But the cost of steel shot is relatively low and the error is relatively large. It can be used to produce thin-walled parts.
5. Rotary casting: It is an ideal method for processing small parts. Generally used in jewelry manufacturing, rubber models can reduce processing costs.
6. Directional solidification: It can produce super heat-resistant alloys with excellent fatigue resistance, which can be poured into molds. Then, through strictly controlled heating and cooling programs, the processor can eliminate any minor defects in the steel shot.
There are six methods for casting steel balls mentioned above. Different casting methods have different advantages and operating methods. So in casting, in addition to choosing the appropriate method, it is also necessary to listen to experienced people's opinions in order to find a casting method that is more suitable for oneself.
