Introduction to the cutting method of steel wire cutting pellets

Steel wire cutting pellets are an ideal abrasive product. It has a good cleaning effect in the sand cleaning treatment of many castings. It is also widely used for rust and scale removal before painting in the steel industry.

1.In terms of service life and cutting efficiency, the linear speed of the saw blade should be selected according to the properties of different stones. When sawing granite, the saw blade line speed can be selected within the range of 25m~35m/s. For granite with high time content and difficult cutting, it is recommended to lower the upper limit of the saw blade line speed. In the production of granite tiles, the diameter of the circular saw blade for steel wire cutting is relatively small, and the line speed can reach 35m/s.
2. Sawing depth: Sawing depth is an important parameter related to the wear of steel wire cutting pellets, effective sawing, blade stress, and sawing performance of stone materials. Generally speaking, when the line speed of its circular saw blade is high, the cutting depth is small. According to current technology, the cutting depth of shot blasting can be selected between 1mm-10mm. When cutting granite with a large diameter saw blade, the cutting depth can be controlled between 1mm-2mm, while reducing the feed rate. When the linear speed of the steel wire cutting ball circular saw blade is high, the cutting depth should be large. But if the performance of the sawing machine and the strength of the cutting tool allow, a higher cutting concentration should be used to improve cutting efficiency. When there is a requirement for machining surfaces, small depth cutting should be used.
3. Feed rate: Feed rate is the feed rate of the sawn stone. Its size affects the sawing speed, the force on the saw blade, and the heat dissipation in the sawing area. Its value should be selected based on the properties of the saw stone. Generally speaking, when sawing soft stones such as marble, the feed rate can be appropriately increased. If the feed rate is too low, it is more advantageous to increase the sawing speed. When sawing granite with a fine-grained structure and relatively uniform texture, the feed rate can be appropriately increased. If the feed rate is too low, its blades will be easily ground flat. When sawing granite with coarse grain structure and uneven hardness, the feed rate of the steel wire should be reduced. Otherwise, the sawing method of the steel wire cutting ball will cause the saw blade to vibrate, resulting in surface damage and reducing the sawing rate. The feed rate for sawing granite is generally within the range of 9m~12m/min.
Steel wire cutting pellets have high hardness, are not easily deformed, and have strong impact resistance; Not easy to break, able to maintain working granularity for a long time; Less debris, no damage to the surface of the workpiece, widely used in manufacturing industries such as machinery, chemical equipment, ships, containers, automobiles, and light industry.
